Cardiology Center of Amarillo employs advanced practice providers who may participate in your care. Both physician assistants (PA) and nurse practitioners (NP) have advanced clinical training.  PA’s and NP’s have a master’s degree and many also have a doctoral degree. They are qualified to provide numerous services such as physical exams, treatment plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory and testing results, making referrals and prescribing medications. They may provide urgent and routine care for our patients in the office and in the hospital setting. Our team of advanced providers work closely with the physicians in order to offer the best care for our patients.
